Guards Polo Club News Back
Mosimann's joins the team at Smith's Lawn 21st December 2016

Guards Polo Club is delighted to announced that the private dining and hospitality experts Mosimann’s will be taking over the kitchens at Smith’s Lawn from next season.

“We have known Mosimann’s for many years and I have always been impressed by their gorgeous menus, impeccable service and professionalism,” said Neil Hobday, Chief Executive of Guards Polo Club. “Mosimann’s London base in West Halkin Street is one of the most famous dining clubs in the world, but few people know that its outside catering business is a world leader from HM The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Lunch at Westminster Hall to The Olympics and from Formula One to the FIFA World Cup. So, we are indeed fortunate to have Mosimann’s as our catering and hospitality partner from 2017.”

The Smith’s Lawn project will be managed by Anton’s son Philipp (pictured), a joint Managing Director, with his brother Mark, of Mosimann’s. “We see Guard’s Polo Club as an exciting challenge to be able to offer the well-renowned Mosimann’s food offering in a new location,” said Philipp. “There is an exciting synergy between the membership of both Mosimann’s and Guards, whereby many people will have dined at Mosimann’s and know what to expect, but we are also looking forward to being able to meet a new and different set of clients who have yet to experience the Mosimann philosophy.

“In addition, it was important for us to collaborate with a like-minded partner who shares our values in offering the highest level of service in a beautiful setting, and who are a leading and successful brand in their field.”
