This open tournament, delivering fast-paced, medium-goal polo early in the season is played on the premier fields at Coworth Park, Dorchester Collection's luxury country house hotel. Guards Polo Club manages these fields on behalf of Coworth Park and brings first-class sport to their guests and our members.

The tournament is named in memory of Valerie Halford, a passionate polo writer and photographer who did much to bring new audiences to polo. We remember her with this competition; a fitting tribute to a devoted follower of the game.
