Chairman Announces New Board of Directors 26th May 2017

Three new names join the top team at Guards Polo Club

Jock Green-Armytage, Chairman of Guards Polo Club, is delighted to confirm the following appointments to the Club’s main Board with immediate effect:

Spencer McCarthy, patron of the Emlor polo team, is a new representative of the Home Elected Players. In addition, Spencer will take over the Chairmanship of the Handicap Committee from Joachim Gottschalk

Thilo Sautter, patron of the Kilnwood Park polo team, is a new representative of the Home Elected Players. This appointment is in addition to his existing role as a key member of our Finance and Audit Committee

Colonel Michael O’Dwyer has been appointed as the new representative of Life Playing Members Who No Longer Play following the recent resignation of Urs Schwarzenbach from the Club’s Board.

The Chairman would like to thank all three directors for generously donating their invaluable time, skill and knowledge to our Board. The Chairman would also like to thank Urs Schwarzenbach for his many years' loyal and devoted service to Guards Polo Club and to Joachim Gottschalk for his tireless and effective work on our Handicap Committee.
