Ganjam Jaipur Trophy
Saturday 30th June
This event celebrates the long established cultural and sporting ties between India and England. The winners of this game receive the impressive Ganjam Jaipur Trophy, which was presented to the Club many years ago by the Maharaja of Jaipur. His widow, the Rajmata, continued to attend this event for a further 30 years. Ganjam and Guards Polo Club now hosts this match in memory of the Rajmata and looks forward to welcoming members of her family to Smith’s Lawn on this Saturday afternoon.
Ganjam, India's oldest jewellers and the sponsor of this wonderful day, will be holding an exclusive jewellery exhibition within the Clubhouse. These exquisite pieces combine historic traditions of jewellery making with innovative modern designs, making each piece truly remarkable.
