Named after the former brickworks to the Windsor Castle Estate and now home to the Club's stable complex in a different part of Windsor Great Park, this competition offers plenty of low-goal polo for the Club's own teams late into the season. For many teams their games in this competition will be their last appearances at Smith's Lawn in 2009 and so they will savour every game and every moment. Finals day is unusual as it is held on a Monday. This is traditionally the polo community's day off but the 31st August 2009 is a Bank Holiday so it is business as usual at Smith's Lawn.
