Ivan the Terrible Twilight Polo 2008
Held on 31/05/08.
This year witnesses the fourth annual Ivan the Terrible Polo Challenge, the first and only polo match in the UK where a Russian team plays. The event is named after its host, a Russian vodka company, which is in turn named after Tsar Ivan the Terrible (Ivan IV 1530-1584) who was the most powerful of Russian Tsars and made an important contribution into the establishment of Anglo-Russian relations. In 2008 this challenge will again play host to a unique selection of high profile players, patrons and spectators from across the world. There are two hospitality options available for this event, a luxury 3 course dinner followed by a charity auction or an Argentine style barbecue known as an Asado.
