The Cottington Cup offers highly competitive, low-goal polo. It is played in memory of the late Charlie Cottington, the farrier at Flemish Farm - Guards Polo Club's stables - for more than 40 years. Before coming to Guards Polo Club, Charlie served in the Household Cavalry. His family attend this day and make the presentations to the winning team.
