Cartier Queen's Cup quarter-finals are next on the cards for Karan Thapar's high-goal team

Karan Thapar’s EFG Bank Aravali secured their first Cartier Queen’s Cup quarter-final place after defeating Amr Zedan’s Saudi Zedan Polo Team 8-6 on The Queen’s Ground at Guards Polo Club. Aravali led all the way and although Saudi Zedan team, who were looking for their first league victory, closed the gap to 5-4 at the end of the fourth, they could not find that extra gear to take them past their opponents. Thapar not only secured his quarter-final place today but went home with the Richard Watt Cup, as this match was played in memory of a former Chairman of Guards Polo Club.
