Australia returns for International battle

Published on 21/01/08 at 09:52AM

The Hurlingham Polo Association, the sport's governing body in the UK, has announced that the Australian polo team will play England on Cartier International Day 2008. The teams last met in 2005 when Australia won 8-7, thanks to a "sudden death" goal in extra time from the stick of Ruki Baillieu. No doubt the England team will be keen to avenge that defeat and will guarantee a great day of sporting action.

Cartier International Day will be held on Sunday 27 July and the booking office for tickets will be open from April  2008.
